Is a group of musicians from Southern Maryland who, for more than 20 years, have been heard regularly around the Baltimore and DC area. The group’s repertoire is eclectic, drawing heavily from traditional instrumental music from Ireland, Scotland, England, both French and English Canada, and of course, America. They enjoy blending this traditional music with contemporary composers, including that of band member Mary Corletta Flora. The training of members in classical and jazz genres is apparent in many of their tunes. The result is a mixture that easily lends itself to dancing or just listening.
The musicians are: Mary Corletta Flora on flute, alto sax, penny whistles and all manner of woodwinds; Joe Klausner on fiddle, mandolin and banjo; Adam Lee guitar and Donna Moore Boylan on keyboard and accordion. Other instruments that they occasionally play include alto and tenor saxophones, various recorders, low D whistle, concertina, harmonica, technopipes, cajon and other percussion instruments.
